The Guy Temple Alumni Breakfast

The culmination of nine months of hard work and leadership development, this annual breakfast event is held in June and serves a dual purpose: allowing class members to present their completed projects to peers, and recognizing an alumnus for excellence in achievement, leadership, and community service. To complete their requirements for graduation, the Class of 2019 will present their LSV Community Service Projects before an audience of alumni, Board members, community stakeholders, and their employers.

The event is an opportunity for alumni to reconnect on an annual basis, celebrating the accomplishments of the class as they complete this great work. Further, a spotlight is shown on the alumni in the room, as the LSV Alumni and Development Committee award the highest honor of the program, the Guy Temple Distinguished Alumni Award.

Leadership Susquehanna Valley(LSV) is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides leadership programs and initiatives to educate and motivate a diverse group of citizens for effective community and organizational leadership. Established in 1994 by representatives of 11 organizations in Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties, LSV has graduated more than 700 class members who have gone on to serve on boards, committees and task forces throughout the Valley.

Graduates of LSV are energized to help serve the needs of the Greater Susquehanna Valley’s rural areas, small boroughs and cities. By serving in leadership positions on nonprofit boards and volunteering their time and talents in other ways, LSV graduates make a positive difference in our communities. Through LSV, they study ways to manage and resolve conflict, and learn about the responsibilities of serving on a community board.
